LEVEL 1 | The basics of hyper-realistic drawing
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
With Level 1 of the hyper-realistic pencil drawing course you will know the basics and have all the necessary tools to tackle the entire course. It is an indispensable level to understand how different materials work in different circumstances and how to use them, to learn how to solve small problems and possible setbacks that often happen while working on a complex job.
 
The three lessons of Level 1 are divided as follows:
 
Lesson 1: TOOLS AND MATERIALS.
30 minutes of video lesson
1 hour* to complete your exercise
Difficulty level: easy
This lesson lists the materials to purchase, demonstrates how to use them and gives you the opportunity to gain confidence thanks to a practical exercise.
 
Lesson 2: HOW TO MAKE A TRACE
22 minutes of video lesson
3 hours* to complete your exercise
Difficulty level: intermediate
 
In this lesson you will learn how to trace from a photograph to your drawing board, with two different techniques ( follow the lesson to find out which ones!)
 
Lesson 3: HYPERREALISTIC DRAWING OF A SIMPLE SUBJECT.
60 minutes of video lesson (divided into two parts)
8 hours* to complete your exercise
Difficulty level: intermediate
 
This lesson will be entirely dedicated to the realisation of the detailed drawing of a pair of dice. You will see, step by step, how to tackle a job from beginning to end, with insights into useful techniques for each different step.
